Drinks and main courses were great. Blood orange cosmo was yummm! Halibut and scallops were made to perfection.
The appetizer and salads we tried were not so special. The anchovies on baguette were salty and too creamy. The salad had too much dressing
Parking is shared with the hotel and can be challenging on popular weekends.

A truly memorable dining experience worth coming back for. Parking can be a bit challenging because the area gets very busy, so reservations are highly recommended. Inside, the atmosphere feels refined yet welcoming, and every staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly and attentive.
We started with the Classic Caesar, and the freshness of the lettuce was outstanding. The subtle hint of anchovy added a beautiful depth of flavor.
The Carbonara was another highlight — the crispy pancetta and generous shaving of Parmigiano Reggiano were a perfect match. It’s a simple, classic dish, but they execute it with a level of skill that’s not easy to replicate.
The Bone-in Pork Milanese was exceptional. The pork was incredibly tender, and the coating was thin and perfectly crisp, creating a wonderful contrast in texture.
ASA is absolutely a place I want to revisit, and I can’t wait to try more dishes on their menu. Highly recommend!

Loved the food. Everything was delicious!!! Even as a vegetarian, I found plenty of great options. The staff was wonderful and the service was excellent. I usually hate tipping, but this time every penny felt worth it. Glad we picked this restaurant for our anniversary dinner

ASA is a Michelin guide recommended restaurant with cozy romantic vibes throughout.
Food was delicious and they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions such as pescatarian, alcohol free and gluten free.
Highly recommend their scallops and seafood dishes as that is what I ordered whereas the rest of the table enjoyed their meat dishes.

Quite a lovely place and enjoyable fusion Spanish cuisine. Ordered a papa pork chop but rather too overly cooked at certain part of the chop. Too dry to my liking but near bone area was perfectly done. Great flavour with good seasoning. … More

Outstanding food and service. My first time will definitely be back. Delicious oysters to start with. Trout, Scallops and Halibut were all perfectly cooked and so delicious. Wow. We had the chocolate bomb for dessert and it was delicious, not too sweet and great with the raspberry sauce. Nice outdoor seating as well. More

Came in on a Friday afternoon for dinner and was very happy with everything. The service was absolutely wonderful! Our waiter gave us recommendations for appetizers, main courses, and wine. He was very knowledgeable! The clams and trout were my favorite dishes. Look forward to trying more items on the menu. More

Had a fantastic experience. The food is very good. I am picky with my steak and was impressed. Portions and prices are better than expected as well. (Dinner for 2 might run you $140-$220)
Had a billing concern and Andrew was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive in helping me to resolve it. I will be going back happily.

Lovely restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere and the dishes were so good. Like really good. It might be a little bit overpriced (thinking particularly for the crab pasta). But both my husband and I loved the food. For dessert I took the pecan rum cake, it was perfect. For a date night I highly recommend it. More

Service was impeccable, food was amazing as well as drinks. Our server Yamila stood out, she was knowledgeable, punctual, sweet and honest. Gave great opinions, and choices/recommended.
Prices are a little bit up there, but if the service is delivered with such exceptional food, it is worth it.

If your children are well behaved, I would say kid friendly other than that it’s intimate dining and I do not recommend

Overcooked steak and ZERO accountability
My family had dinner here a few days ago.
The atmosphere was great. All pointed to a good night, until it’s not.
I ordered my steak medium rare - but what I got was clearly medium well. I wasn’t planning to complain, but the server came over with a practiced smile asking how everything was. I simply asked whether she put in the order as “medium rare”, and she said she had. I pointed out the doneness was way off, and instead of acknowledging it, she snapped, “But you’ve already eaten a lot of it!”
For the record, the steak came pre-sliced—I had one piece, gave another to my son. That’s it.
I told her I just wanted to point out the mistake, not looking for anything. She went away and i didn’t give it much thought.
A few minutes later, the manager came over. She said she was told there was an issue. Although she apologized, but she really didn’t. “Well, you’ve already eaten some, so what exactly do you want?”
I said I just wanted to understand how they define medium rare here. The response? “Next time we’ll make it rare for you.”
There won’t be a next time.

See photo attached. The bottom one is fine. The top one was supposed to be medium rare as well.
I’ve seen some photo posted by others. Some steak looked really good. Unfortunately, not the one I got.

Had a great dinner. Service was on point. Loved the anchovie bread appetizer, the duck for a main. The dessert was kind of disappointing. Lemon lavender cake was just a cupcake; depth of flavor was just not present for me. Others in my party had a nice pistachio/rum ice cream. More

We had the most magical evening dining at Asa Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely service team that made us feel right at home. The dining experience was impressively tasteful, with each detail thoughtfully curated to enhance our evening.
At times, out of respect for our newly met friends, I refrained from taking out my phone to snap photos of the food, which is something I usually do. However, when the second course arrived, I couldn’t resist capturing the delightful meals we were enjoying. We even wondered aloud if Asa might be a Michelin-starred restaurant that we hadn’t heard of, given the exceptional quality of the dishes.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the truffle mushroom slice (though I couldn’t recall the exact description and unfortunately didn’t get a photo). It was incredibly fresh and bursting with umami flavor. For my main course, I opted for the sustainable tuna, which I requested to be cooked well-done. It was prepared just the way I like it—flaky and flavorful.
I typically don’t enjoy dishes that are overly sauced, as some meals simply don’t pair well with their accompaniments. However, Asa’s head chef and the team managed to present everything beautifully, with flavors that danced harmoniously on the plate.
Another standout dish was the double-cut pork chop, which was nothing short of insane! It was juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Now, whenever we crave a delectable pork chop, Asa in Los Gatos will be our go-to destination. 🍷🍷🍷
Overall, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary, and we can’t wait to return!

They are amazing every time. Consistently wonderful food and service. Can’t go wrong with the mushroom pasta and whatever is the special of the day. I really appreciate that they ask if you are done with each item individually when clearing the table.

Came for dinner on a Friday night. We were seated right away with no issues. The restaurant was definitely busy which is always a good sign in my book. Parking as some have said is tricky as they share the parking lot with the Best Western Hotel. Although signs say hotel parking only, it’s OK to park there.
Started out with apps (truffle fries, burata and tomato soup special). All were excellent except soup which didn’t have much flavor. Our waiter was nice enough to comp it which was a nice touch. Out mains were halibut x2 and the Ahi Tuna. The halibut was amazing and the tuna wasn’t too far behind. Highly recommend either.
Our waiter, Jose was attentive and provided great service. There had been posts about slow service, but all our dishes came out in a reasonable amount of time and hot. No issues at all.
Net/net we had a really nice experience, good service and excellent food. We will definitely be back!!!
